Award-winning Firm BWBR Improves AP Process with Powerful CCG Product

List of Top A&E Firms Using CCG Products Continues to Grow

Minneapolis, MN — Oct. 15, 2013 — Leading architectural firm BWBR recently joined the growing list of nationally ranked firms using Central Consulting Group’s (CCG) powerful financial products for Deltek Vision® to improve their operations. BWBR implemented CCG Payables Approval & Tracking software to improve the efficiency of the firm’s accounts payables process.

The product allows firms to scan their incoming paper invoices and create electronic versions, which can be viewed and marked-up by reviewers easily and quickly on their desktops.

“We continually look for systems that can accommodate growth without requiring additional staff,” said Mike Ranum, Chief Financial Officer for BWBR, which has achieved annual growth of 20 percent the past few years and recently added an office. The firm processes nearly 1,200 subcontractor invoices annually. “CCG Payables Approval & Tracking makes our accounts payable staff more efficient, and allows us to deliver greater value to our project managers, who are strapped for time,” Ranum explained.

The firm’s project managers especially like that the product allows them to view the original contract next to the subcontractor’s  invoice, Ranum said, so they can quickly verify the accuracy of costs and see how much has already been paid to the subcontractor.

Ranum appreciates that the CCG product allows the firm to maintain its integrity with subcontractors. “We work with
some of the best consultants in the Midwest and we want to treat them well. This product allows us to pay them in a timely manner,” he explained. The firm can then invoice clients for the work faster, as well, to help improve the billing process, Ranum added.

CCG Payables Approval & Tracking is part of the CCG Suite of Products, which includes six proprietary financial products designed to integrate seamlessly with Deltek Vision.
